Most owners don't need a buyer. They need a thinking partner. BSC Advisory Services brings institutional-grade deal experience to small businesses, without the conflict of interest of a transaction at the end.

We work with owners on the questions that come up when you've built something real: succession, valuation, growth bottlenecks, hiring senior talent, lender conversations, real estate decisions, family transitions. Our advisory engagements stand alone. We do not include acquisition options in advisory agreements, which is what separates us from brokers and bankers.

Common questions

What owners ask us first.

Will you try to buy my business at the end?
No. Advisory and acquisition are separate engagements with separate agreements. Conflicts of interest exist; we don't pretend they don't.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
We typically work with businesses between $100K and $10M in revenue, owner-operated, based in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware. If you're outside that range and not sure whether you're a fit, reach out anyway. We'd rather have the conversation than miss the right business because of a rule of thumb.
Who delivers the work?
Our founder personally, supported by our analyst bench.
Can we cancel?
Yes. Retainer engagements are month-to-month. Project engagements run their scoped term, then end cleanly.
